Showpad is a capable sales enablement platform used by thousands of B2B teams. If you are a MedTech company weighing it up, the question is not which tool has more features. It is whether you want a platform to run, or a system that is run for you.
Showpad does content management, brand control, interactive experiences and analytics well, and it has done for over a decade. If you have a revenue enablement team to configure it, populate it and keep it current, it is a strong choice and you should take it seriously.
Nuvue is a different shape. It is built only for medical device companies, and it is designed around the full arc of how a device gets sold and supported: winning the client with the Win Engine, knowing what is working with the Know Engine, and supporting the customer afterwards with the Grow Engine.
Most of our clients run between 5 and 200 reps, and share content with thousands of customers. Almost none of them have a person whose job is running software. That is what the platform is built around.

Feature for feature, the two platforms land in similar places. The difference is what happens across a MedTech sales cycle, from first meeting to the years after the device is installed.
Showpad sends a branded page holding your content, with links to the files inside it. Nuvue sends that too. It also sends the presentation itself, as a mobile-responsive page a rep can text from a hospital corridor and a surgeon can read on a phone without pinching to zoom.
That responsive content is built in Nuvue's page builder, which your marketing team can use directly. Showpad's own guidance for responsive output is to author HTML yourself and upload it, or to bring in one of their partner agencies.
Both platforms control what reps can change. Neither lets a rep rewrite a clinical claim. The difference is the format that lands with the buyer, and who has to build it. More on that in the Win Engine.
Showpad's own guidance recommends up to 15 participants. When a Nuvue client launches a device, they invite thousands of clinicians into one gated portal.
These are not the same product at different sizes. Theirs is a collaboration room for one deal, where invited participants comment and share. A Nuvue portal is account-based infrastructure for a customer base: password protected, individually credentialed, organized by tag so each viewer sees what applies to them.
In MedTech, the sale is the beginning. Training the practice, onboarding new staff, and keeping a customer current runs for years. Showpad Coach is built for your reps, not your customers. That post-sale work is what the Grow Engine exists for.
Showpad's analytics are genuinely good. They show which reps are active, which content gets used, and how engagement maps to deals. What they cannot show is your pipeline, because Showpad does not have a CRM. That view lives in Salesforce, and joining the two is a project.
Nuvue has the CRM inside it, so a sales manager opens one dashboard and sees rep activity, content performance and deal stage together. Who is using the system and who is not, which presentations they are building, which content is working, and where every deal actually stands. That is the Know Engine.
The honest trade: if you are already deep in Salesforce with years of customisation, that consolidation is not worth tearing out. Nuvue has no data connection to an outside CRM, so most teams in that position run Nuvue as the content and enablement system and keep their CRM for deal records.
For MedTech companies, usually yes. Nuvue covers the same content management, brand control and analytics ground, and adds a CRM and customer portals that Showpad does not have. For a general B2B company outside medical devices, Showpad is the better fit and we would tell you so.
No. Nuvue includes a CRM built for device sales cycles, and most growing MedTech companies standardise on it. If you are committed to Salesforce or HubSpot, teams typically run Nuvue as the content and enablement system alongside it. Nuvue does not connect to an outside CRM, so it is worth talking through how much of your process lives in the CRM today.
Showpad controls which content can be edited and shared, and it does that well. The point is that editing is a setting, because what sits underneath is a file. Get the permission wrong on one asset, or let one PowerPoint leave the system, and the brand travels with it. Nuvue does not have that setting, because it does not have that file. What a rep sends is a web page rendered by the system, carrying your logo, fonts and colours. There is no version of it a rep could open and change.
In Nuvue, a presentation that reflows for the screen it lands on. In Showpad, a link to a page of files, or a PDF. Those pages are mobile-optimized, but a PDF inside one is still a PDF, and PowerPoint and PDF are fixed-layout formats.
Not the way MedTech needs. Their shared pages are collaboration rooms for one deal, and Showpad's own guidance recommends around 15 participants for a smooth experience. Showpad Coach, their training product, is built for internal reps rather than external customers. If your post-sale motion is supporting the practices and hospitals that bought your device, that is a gap.
Showpad can do that and Nuvue cannot. You can set a release and expiry date per asset in Showpad, and expired content is pulled automatically. Nuvue takes a different approach: there is one controlled version of every asset, and updating it updates it everywhere immediately. If your compliance process depends on dated automatic expiry, that is a real point in Showpad's favour.
$2,950 to onboard, then monthly licensing based on team size. The full breakdown is on our pricing page. Showpad does not publish list pricing.
We rebuild it. That is what the managed service means: our creative team takes your existing decks and materials and builds them into the system during onboarding, rather than handing you an empty platform and a login.
Not a presentation tool with rules attached. The content a rep sends, the CRM it sits on, and the portal your customer keeps once the device is theirs. Pricing is published in full.
