HubSpot is a genuinely powerful platform, and closer to Nuvue than most. The question for a MedTech team is how much of it you will use, and whether a system this broad is one your reps will actually open.
It is worth being straight about how much HubSpot covers. Sales Hub Professional includes playbooks, sequences, templates and a document library with tracking, and marketing automation is a category we do not enter at all. For a company that needs all of that, HubSpot is a real advantage. What we hear from MedTech teams is that they do not need most of it, and that the breadth becomes the problem: more to configure, more to learn, and reps who quietly stop going in.
Nuvue's CRM is deliberately the simplest thing on this page. Device sales stages, contacts, deals, and the content a rep needs for tomorrow's meeting. Nothing else, because the rep is already in the system getting that presentation, so the record updates as a by-product rather than as a task. And the presentation is built here rather than uploaded: brand locked, responsive on any screen, organized by sales stage. That is the CRM and the Win Engine working as one thing.

HubSpot covers more of this than any other CRM on our list, and more than most MedTech teams will use. The one gap is narrow and specific, and it sits exactly where a device sale is won or lost.
HubSpot can track the document a rep sent. It cannot build the one they should have sent.
HubSpot's document library holds what somebody uploaded and tells you who opened it, which is genuinely useful. But the thing itself is still a file made in PowerPoint, edited by whoever had it last, opening on a surgeon's phone as a fixed page they have to pinch at.
Nuvue builds the presentation from approved modules: brand locked, responsive, findable by sales stage. That is the Win Engine.
HubSpot Service Hub gives customers a portal for their tickets and a knowledge base to search. For support, that works well.
A device customer needs something else: the theatre staff who joined last month need training on equipment bought two years ago, and the practice needs to stay current as indications change. A Nuvue portal is branded, gated and organized by tag so each person sees what applies to their equipment. That is the Grow Engine, and it is included rather than a second product.
Marketing automation. HubSpot's core strength. Nuvue has nothing comparable and is not trying to.
Automated sequences. HubSpot sends on a schedule. Nuvue playbooks recommend what to send and when, and a rep sends it. If hands-off nurture matters to you, that is a real gap.
Integrations. HubSpot connects to almost everything. Nuvue has no data connection to an outside CRM, so if you are deep in HubSpot the sensible answer is to keep it and run Nuvue as the content and enablement system alongside.
What you get for that is a system with less in it. Whether that is a loss depends on how much of HubSpot your team currently opens.
Closer than most. HubSpot Sales Hub Professional includes playbooks, sequences, templates and a library of sales documents with tracking, so a lot of what a MedTech team needs is genuinely there. If your sales motion is mostly email and pipeline, HubSpot may well be enough, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise.
Marketing automation, which is what they were built for and where nothing we do compares. Email sequences, which are automated in HubSpot and manual in Nuvue: our playbooks suggest what to send and when, and a rep sends it. And integrations, where HubSpot connects to almost everything and Nuvue connects to nothing.
That is the most common thing we hear, and it is worth being honest about why. HubSpot is broad because it serves marketing, sales and service across every industry, and breadth means options, configuration and training. A rep facing all of that after a day of meetings tends not to bother. Nuvue's CRM is deliberately small: device sales stages, contacts, deals and the content they came for. Reps open it because the presentation for tomorrow is in there, and the record updates from what they were doing anyway. We cannot promise adoption, but we can remove the reason people avoid it.
Presentations. HubSpot holds documents you upload; it has no system for building the presentation itself. A rep sends a file and hopes it opens well on a phone. Nuvue builds the presentation inside the system, brand locked, responsive on any screen, organized by sales stage. For a device rep walking into a hospital, that presentation is the job rather than an attachment to it.
Different purpose. The Service Hub portal and knowledge base are built around support: tickets a customer can track, articles they can search. Useful, and genuinely good at that job. A Nuvue portal is built around a device: branded, gated, organized by tag so a hospital's theatre staff see the training that applies to their equipment, for years after purchase. One is a help desk, the other is product education.
No. There is no data connection between Nuvue and an outside CRM. Teams already running HubSpot at scale usually keep it and run Nuvue as the content and enablement system alongside. That means two systems, and whether it is worth it depends on how much of your process already lives in HubSpot.
More than one product. Playbooks, sequences and the document library are Sales Hub Professional. The customer portal and knowledge base are Service Hub Professional. Both Professional tiers carry a one-time onboarding fee on top of per-seat pricing. And after all that there is still no presentation system. Nuvue publishes its pricing on the pricing page.
We rebuild it. That is what the managed service means: our creative team takes your existing decks and materials and builds them into the system during onboarding, rather than handing you an empty platform and a login.
Not a presentation tool with rules attached. The content a rep sends, the CRM it sits on, and the portal your customer keeps once the device is theirs. Pricing is published in full.
